Identity anchoring is the practice of linking a physical action to a mental state so you can trigger it on demand. When done consistently, it becomes an instant switch into your chosen self.

Step-by-Step

  1. Get into your desired state (confidence, focus, calm).
  2. While in that state, apply a unique physical action (touching your fist to your chest, tapping two fingers together).
  3. Repeat over multiple sessions until the action triggers the state automatically.
